UFC 239 Ben Askren believes Anthony Pettis 'easily wins' over Nate Diaz

Ben Askren is confident that teammate Anthony Pettis will win "easily" over Nate Diaz

Former One Championship and Bellator MMA champion Ben Askren and Anthony Pettis are teammates and train together at Roufusport. Pettis recently made a transition to the welterweight division, where he scored a second-round knockout victory over Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson.

"Showtime" currently takes Nate Diaz at UFC 241 on August 17.

During an average scrum day at UFC 239, reporters asked 'Funky' who he believes will win between Pettis and Nate Diaz. Askren, without any doubt, says that his training partner will win quite easily.

Askren is scheduled to face Jorge Masvidal in a welterweight bout at the UFC 239 PPV event that will take place tonight from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Do you agree with Askren's opinion that Anthony Pettis can get an easy victory over Nate Diaz?
