Arsenal sign £ 8 million deal with Chelsea to sign David Luiz

Brazil on Thursday refused to train Emirates to speed up the forceful movement. The movement apparently came from nowhere, but Arsenal gave their discovery a central extension after Bordeaux's departure of Laurent Koscielny. Chelsea is currently serving a two-window transfer ban and it was thought that the Blues were unlikely to approve of Luiz's game, especially an opponent in the top four.

However, the Mirror claims that the two sides agreed to an £ 8 million fee and that Luiz would undergo a medical examination in north London today.

The deal is a major setback for Unai Emery, who worked with Brazil when he was at PSG. The Spanish praise Luiz's ability on the ball and believe he has at least two years at the top.

Luiz would sign a deal with the Gunners by 2021, mimicking the extension he had signed at Chelsea only three months earlier. Arsenal also hopes to sign Celtic ace Keenan Tierney today after arriving at a £ 25m payout.
