At least 38 people were killed in a fire at a construction site in South Korea amid the havoc of the coronavirus. Officials said the death toll in the incident near the capital on Wednesday could increase as many people were feared trapped in an under-construction warehouse in Incheon. The fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon and took hundreds of firefighters to control it.

Employees were working on the ground floor at the time of the accident. Prime Minister Chung Sai Qin has ordered government officials and national fire and police agencies to resort to "all available equipment and personnel" for search and rescue operations.
