NBA superstar James Harden why he's wearing the Blue Lives Matter: I thought it looked great.
James Harden, the Houston Rockets archery keeper, has a simple explanation of why he wore a pro-police face mask in a national conversation about police brutality - he liked the way he looked.

"Frankly, I wasn't trying to make a political statement," said the eight-time All-Star. "I wore it because it covered my face and beard."
He later added: "I thought it looked cool, that's all."
Harden intensified on social media on Friday for wearing a mask in Thin Blue Line, a symbol representing the non-profit Blue Lives Matter, a police advocacy group.

Hardin joined the rest of his teammates in the NBA "bubble" in Orlando on Tuesday, four days after the rest of the team, and appeared in a tweet from NBA accounts and Rockets showing a close-up of the mask he wore upon arrival.

While the photos showed that Harden is doing his part to stem the spread of the coronavirus, many criticized the mask for representing a group of police and their supporters created in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
