Ant Anstead breaks his silence on divorce Christina Anstead
By taking to Instagram on Saturday, September 26th, the British star opened up on his thoughts on the situation.

“Anyone who really knows me knows that I don't like sharing private matters publicly. I have stayed silent while holding onto hope,” he commented on his post, along with a black and white photo of him and Christina. "I have never given up on us. I pray that Cristina's decision brings her happiness."

This is the first time Ant has publicly commented on their split. In fact, his letter comes nearly a week after the Flip or Flop star announced their divorce.

“You and I made a tough decision to break up,” the HGTV star read on Instagram on September 18th. "We are grateful to each other and as always, our children will remain our priority. We appreciate your support and we ask for privacy as we and our family sail into the future."

Hours before Ant broke his silence, Christina discussed her life, divorce, and everything in between in a refreshing honest post.

Her long letter began on Saturday morning, "For those of you who don't know me (or think you know me), let me reintroduce myself." "I hate crowds, love to travel, all spiritual things, the ocean and the deep in one conversation"

The Flip or Flop star also shared that she "never wanted to be on TV" but is "grateful" for the great opportunities and experiences she got because of it.

But she kept it real and revealed that fame comes with some downsides.

"I live in a state of anxiety and I'm so used to it that when I'm not there I tend to feel empty and jump into something that causes me the feeling I'm used to," she explained. "This can be both good and bad. And it's one of the things that I'm breaking into. Sometimes anxiety and the pursuit of new dreams lead me down amazing paths, other times it leaves me feeling lost and in a fight or flight / or cry in my wardrobe."

And she continued: "Sometimes our call is greater than our plans. I never thought that I would get one divorce, let alone two divorces." “I never thought I would have young parents - but sometimes life throws us into bending balls. Rather than falling into“ setbacks, ”I choose to view these challenges as opportunities for growth.

Christina and you were married for nearly two years before they decided to go their separate ways. They welcomed their first child together last September. HGTV star has also previously married Tariq Al Mousa. They share two children together.

I am surrounded by very strong women who help me cope, build and push me to be better, ”Cristina said in closing. "I appreciate the support and hope my story inspires you not to be difficult on yourself by the decisions / choices you have made. We are all in progress."

A source recently told E! News Christina was "very disappointed" at the divorce.

“The return home of the newborn baby was very difficult and difficult. It was a very difficult year with a lot of difficult times,” said The Insider. "She never thought she would get a divorce so quickly. She tried to give her a bigger chance but it became very clear that she was not going to succeed."
