Panic among Afghan citizens for visa, painful death of 15
Thousands of Afghan citizens panicked at a stadium in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province to get a visa to visit Pakistan. The stampede killed 15 people, including at least 11 women. Officials gave this information.

Governor Ataullah Khogayani said that 13 of these other people were injured, mostly women. He said that most of those killed were aged.

In another incident on Wednesday, at least 34 Afghan police personnel were killed in a Taliban attack in northern Afghanistan. A local hospital official gave this information. Rahim Bakhsh Danish, director of the main hospital in Takhar province, said eight other security personnel were injured in the attack.
