Plane crash in Alaska, US: 5 passengers and 1 pilot killed in plane crash
6 people have died in a plane crash in Alaska, USA. The dead included 5 passengers and 1 pilot. A sightseeing plane crashed in southern Alaska on Thursday, according to the US Coast Guard. The crew members of the MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter found its wreckage.

This accident is likely due to bad weather. The Coast Guard said that there was mist at the time of the accident and it was raining lightly. During this the wind was a bit strong and the visibility was only 2 miles. After the plane went missing, Alaska State Troopers and the Coast Guard launched a joint search operation.

The identities of those killed in the plane crash have not been disclosed yet. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the accident. Earlier in 2019, two tourist planes collided in the air and 6 out of 16 people on board were killed.

Last month (09 July) a skydiving plane crashed in Sweden. In this 8 skydivers and 1 pilot died. According to Swedish police, the DHC-2 Turbo Beaver plane caught fire shortly after takeoff from Rebro Airport.
